No. 6 Glenn blows out Tipton in Goshen Holiday Tournament

The sixth-ranked Lady Falcons advanced to today's championship game of the Goshen Holiday Tournament thanks to a convincing 64-35 win over Tipton today.
Glenn improved to 11-0 overall with the victory and will meet host Goshen in the title game as the Lady Falcons seek their second consecutive Goshen Holiday Tournament crown.
Glenn had three players score in double figures led by senior guard Kyler Columbia's 18 points. Loren Vukovits had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Kyannah Stull added 15 points.
Columbia knocked down 5-of-11 of her shots, going 3-for-7 from beyond the arc. She was 5-of-8 at the foul line.
The Lady Falcons jumped out to a 19-7 first-quarter lead, led 36-17 at the break and 55-28 after three.
Glenn shot 43 percent from the floor (21-of-48), including 7-of-20 from three-point territory (35 percent). The Lady Falcons were just 15-of-24 from the foul line.
Tipton didn't shoot the ball well at all. It was 12-of-47 from the field, including a mere 2-of-14 from long range. Tipton hit 9-of-14 free throws.
Tipton was led by guard Macie Lively's 10 points.
The Lady Falcons junior varsity team also improved to 11-0 on the season with a 58-28 win over Tipton today. Glenn plays Goshen in the JV title game this afternoon. Glenn freshman Riley Groves led the way with 15 points and Mariah Plunkett chipped in 14 points.
