• The first program of the 5th Brown Bag Lunch Program Series will premiere from 12 – 1 p.m. at the Marshall County Museum. Local architect, preservationist, Kurt Garner’s presents, “Off to the Poor Farm: A 160-Year Commitment to Care,” exploring the intriguing history of the county farm. Kurt’s research has uncovered a previously unknown building that housed the county farm inhabitants, as well as an unidentified cemetery on the premise. Bring your lunch to this monthly second Friday event & enjoy interesting tidbits that connect us to our past in Marshall County. The Marshall County Museum is located at 123 N. Michigan St. in historic downtown Plymouth.

• Attorneys with the Volunteer Lawyer Network organization will be at the Life Enrichment Center/Marshall County Council of Aging, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth to provide free legal advice.
