• Kiwanis Club of Plymouth meets from 12 pm – 1 pm at Ponderosa. We “serve the children of the world” with a special focus on improving the lives of children in our community. Join us for lunch and informative speakers. New members are always welcome.
• Heartland Artists class from 6-8 p.m. - SCRATCH BOARD - Instructor Marj Burkholder will lead the class in
creating a picture of a cat on scratch board. $25 if paid before Oct. 23; $30 after. Adults 13-99. All materials will be supplied.
• Bremen Historic Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Bremen Public Library Community Book Discussion – Join us for a community book discussion on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein from 5 to 5:45 p.m. in our Lower Level Meeting Room. Copies of the book will be available at the Adult Desk beginning Sept. 10. Written by teenage Mary Shelley in 1818, Frankenstein tells the story of a young scientist who created a grotesque living creature through a scientific experiment and was horrified by what he had made.
• What Frankenstein Read – 6-7 p.m. at the Bremen Public Library. As one of the most adapted novels of all time, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein has become famous for featuring a man-made monster. But who created this monster and why?
