Brittany Patrick sentenced in Marshall County Court

MARSHALL COUNTY — Brittney Patrick, 25, of Plymouth, was sentenced today (March 18, 2015) in Marshall Superior Court No. 1 to three years imprisonment for possessing methamphetamine, three years imprisonment for the unlawful sale of a precursor, and two years of imprisonment for neglect of a dependent. The two three year sentences were ordered to run concurrently, and the two year sentence was ordered to run consecutively totally 5 years of imprisonment. Two years of the sentence calling for imprisonment was suspended, with the balance of the time ordered to be served on probation for one year.
Judge Robert O. Bowen approved an agreement reached between Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tami Napier and defense attorney Joseph Simanski. It was agreed the remaining counts were to be dismissed, including conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana.
