Huppert’s perfect game pitches Bremen into Westview championship

Chelsea Huppert tossed a perfect game, and Bremen advanced to the finals at the Westview Sectional Tuesday in Topeka.
Huppert K’d 12 while facing the minimum number of batters, and Micaela Box homered and doubled, collecting two RBIs in the process.

Lions complete another perfect NSC run

Bremen completed its perfect Northern State Conference run with a narrow 4-3 victory over Jimtown at home Wednesday night. It was the Lions’ second consecutive unbeaten conference season and the team’s third straight NSC championship.
