PLYMOUTH â€” The Marshall County clerk's office confirmed that two marriage licenses have been issued this afternoon to same sex couples.
The decision to issue the licenses came after confirmation from the attorney general's office around noon today.
Yesterday a federal court in Indiana ruled the state's ban on same-sex marriages was unconstitutional. In response, couples throughout the state headed to their county's clerks office for the license and to take their vows.
