The Nelons’ take vocal excellence -- the sound of a soaring soprano and smooth alto with an intertwining tenor – and add in the tight family harmony. Focused and grounded in the Word of God, the Nelons say, “We know that we are nothing apart from the grace of God, and want to share His gospel with whomever God allows, bringing more worshippers to our Great God!”

Fish and Pancakes at Potawatomi Wildlife Park

September 19, 2014

TIPPECANOE — It was a chilly morning at Potawatomi Wildlife park Saturday morning. But that didn’t stop visitors from stopping by for a plate of all-you-can-eat pancakes and fishing.
The park hosted their 22nd annual fishing derby between 8 a.m. and noon. The ponds at the park are usually no fishing areas but this one day a year it’s non stop fishing (catch and release for most fish). Many families participate year after year but newcomers are always welcome.
“It’s not really a fundraiser,” explained Michael Stephan, park director. “It is really more of a friend-raiser.”
