BREMEN — William Frederick (“Bill”) Hundt, 69, of Bremen, went home to be with The Lord Thursday, June 13, 2013. Also surviving are four brothers and eight sisters, Luella Powell, Richard (Loretta) Hundt, Judy Lohagen, Carolyn (David) Colburn, George (Sue) Hundt, Barbara (Steve) Harrington, Patty (Richard) Igelski, Paul (Christine) Hundt, Kathy Garza, Frank (Robin) Hundt, Lila (Bill) Harmon, and Tenna (Mike) Walenga as well as many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Arthur Hundt Jr., Robert “Bob” Hundt, Beverly Davis and Delores Ogle.
Bill was a hardworking employee of Bremen Castings for 43 years and Monaco Coach for 18 months and he loved to check in on Precision Painting. Bill attended the Bremen Church of God and was devoted to serving The Lord and helping out anyone and everyone in any way he could. He loved his family and had special places in his heart for his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Bill’s doctors and all the staff at Kindred nursing home in Bremen. Bill truly appreciated the care he received and often commented that they made it feel like home.
Funeral services for Bill will take place at the Bremen Church of the Brethren, 921 Woodies Lane, Bremen, on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. Pastor Tom Brown will officiate and burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery.
