MONDAY, March 7

• There will be an American Red Cross blood drive from 2-7 p.m., at Menominee Elementary School, 815 Discovery Lane, Plymouth. Download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make an appointment or for more information.
• Culver Community Schools Corporation board of school trustees will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. in the administration office, 700 School St., Culver. An executive session will immediately follow.

TUESDAY, MARCH 8

• Marshall County TRIAD will meet at 9 a.m. at the Life Enrichment Center, Plymouth.
• Marshall County Farm Bureau will hold a meeting for area farmers on Managing Row Crops with Tight Margins in 2016. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m., lunch will be provided, and will conclude at 3 p.m. at the Marshall County Extension Office, Room 304 in the Marshall County Building, 112 W. • The Marshall County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at 112 W. Jefferson St., Room #203, Plymouth.
• Argos Elementary welcomes all resident and nonresident families wishing to attend Argos Community Schools. In preparation for the 2016-17 school year, Argos Elementary School will hold kindergarten roundup. Parents can arrive anytime between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. All incoming kindergartners will go through a short screening process at roundup. Parents can access forms online at www.argos.k12.in.us to complete paperwork for roundup ahead of time.
• Ancilla College is hosting a free how-to-fill-out-your-FAFSA workshop at 1:30 p.m. in room C144.

• Bourbon Public Library is holding story time from 10:30-11:15 a.m.
• Plymouth High School will be conducting parent/teacher conferences. Classroom teachers will be contacting parents to schedule a conference that will include parent(s), student, and the classroom teacher. Parents may also contact teachers to request conferences. Registration will begin at 5:45 p.m. at Doors 1 and 5. Walk-in conferences with teachers are available from 6–6:30 p.m. Parents who wish to be included in a pre-scheduled conference are asked to call Plymouth High School at 574-936-2178 to talk directly to their student's teacher(s) to make arrangements.

• VFW Post 1162, 606 Lake Ave., Plymouth, will be selling baked mostaccioli with meatballs, and side salad. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children younger than 12.
• The Marshall County Museum, 123 N. Michigan St., Plymouth is kicking off the 2016 Brown Bag Lunch Series from 12-1 p.m. This year, in celebrating Indiana’s Bicentennial, Encore Performing Arts is partnering with the Museum to remember the historic works of Indiana composer, Cole Porter. “Cole Porter’s Top Ten List Songs,” the first of a six-part series sponsored by Encore, will be featured for the first Brown Bag event. It will be narrated by Chicago-based presenter, Charles Troy.

SATURDAY, MARCH 12

• Culver-Union Township Public Library is hosting family storytime and crafts at 10 a.m. This program is free and open to the public.
• Argos Old Gold Boosters will be holding a quarter auction in the Argos Junior High School gym. Doors open at 4 p.m. Auction begins at 5 p.m. Tickets are $5. For more information, please call Danell Webster at 574-933-1278.
• Walnut Church of the Brethren, 5975 19th Road, Argos, will be hosting a deacon's soup supper from 4:30-7 p.m. Homemade soups and desserts will be served. Free will offering will be accepted. Proceeds will be used for community outreach.

• Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, will be sponsoring a benefit dinner-silent auction in memory of Raymond Kuchel, from 3-7 p.m. at John Glenn High School, 201 John Glenn Drive, Walkerton. • The LaPaz Lions Club is having an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 4-7 p.m. at LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School. Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for students ages 11 or younger. Preschool children are free. Carryout and drive-through are available. Proceeds go to community projects.
• The inaugural North Liberty community fish fry will be from 4-7 p.m. at the North Liberty Community Building, 300 S. Main St., North Liberty. Cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 6-10, and free for children younger than 5.
• The 16th annual Sportsman’s Banquet at First Baptist Church in Bremen will begin at 5 p.m. This year’s speaker will be Steve Kemper from Beckley, W.Va. Beckley is an avid outdoorsman who was paralyzed by an accident. However, he has persisted in his dual passion for both God and the great outdoors.
