BOURBON — Walter P. Krontz, 63, of Bourbon, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in his home at Bourbon.
Walter was born July 17, 1950 the son of Walter and Pauline Krontz Sr. He has been a resident of Bourbon since 1998.
He had worked at Dexter Axle of Fremont as a welder and he was a graduate of Butler High School. Walter was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving his country in the United States Army from April 20, 1970 – Nov. 19, 1971.
Walter is survived by his daughter; Susie (Mrs. Andy) Schaetzle of Bourbon and his son; Joseph Krontz of Fort Wayne. He was also blessed with five grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
Preceding in death were his parents, several brothers and sisters.
You are invited on Monday, May 5, 2014 to share memories with the family from 1 - 2 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
A memorial celebration of Walter’s life will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gary Hinkle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon with military grave side services by the Bourbon American Legion, Post 424.
