Trojans’ ‘D’ dominates in win over Argos

November 20, 2013

BOURBON — The Triton Lady Trojans came away victorious in their home opener at the Trojan Trench, defeating the Argos Lady Dragons 53-25 in a strong defensive effort.
Triton got off to a quick start in the first, pushing the tempo and forcing 14 turnovers in the quarter with their three-quarter court pressure.
“We have to cut down on our turnovers against the press,” said Dragon Coach Gary Teel when talking about the key to the game. “You just can’t make that many turnovers against a quality team and still be in the game. It’s just not going to happen.”
