TobyMac headlining Friend Fest
NAPPANEE — Summer is here, which is nice for outdoor events, but especially for one extravagant event set for later this month – a concert featuring Christian artist TobyMac and 21 other performers.
The WFRN Friend Fest of this year is scheduled for Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22.
Those in Nappanee will be closest to the location, but it is an event that many people have gone to in the past and will again attend this year.
Music often comes with the season of summer, and that is why the WFRN Friend Fest will be quite a hit in the Marshall County area.
Not only is this event going to contain talented Christian artists, it will also be an entertaining attraction for younger kids.
The musicians will have the center of attention most of the time.
However, there are 22 performers.
A few of the singers who will be there, including TobyMac, are Matthew West, Big Daddy Weave and Kari Jobe.

The concert will take place over the two days.

Gates open at 10 a.m. Saturday. Performances include Kari Jobe and Jamie Grace. Peter Furler Band plays 7:50-09:05 p.m., and Friend Fest headliner TobyMac takes the stage at 9:30 p.m. His show is expected to wrap up at 11 p.m.
Parking is free and food can be brought in or purchased.
Each day will be packed with a massive amount of solid Christian music and possibly even some spoken stories during the songs.
Amish Acres in Nappanee will be the location, like normal, for this year’s performance.
Many people attended the event in 2012 and organizers say this year should be an exciting one.
