Swartlander Benefit raises money for Bremen youth

March 27, 2014

BREMEN — The Bremen Police Department hosted the 18th annual Swartzlander Basketball Benefit Thursday evening at Bremen High School to honor this year's beneficiary Jazmin Padilla, a student at Bremen Elementary.

Each year, the benefit provides assistance to families throughout Marshall County with medical and daily living expenses. Jazmin was born prematurely and has undergone repeated surgeries stemming from multiple health issues ranging from epilepsy to pyloric stenosis, according to her mother, Angela Padilla.
