KOONTZ LAKE — Stephen M. Werner, 63, of Renfrew, Pa., formerly of Koontz Lake passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 in his home. Steve was born June 25, 1950 in Fort Wayne. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Walkerton American Legion Post #189.
Survivors include one son, James (Lisa) Werner of Koontz Lake; one daughter, Christy (Tim) Crawford of Plymouth; five grandchildren; his father, Frederick Werner of Florida; his mother, Annabelle Enyhart of Florida; companion, Linda Siwicki of Renfrew, Pa.; two sisters, Shirley (Chad) Baller of Markle and Laura Lee Rike of Florida; one brother, John (Mary) Werner of Florida; one stepsister, Mardene Reid of Florida; three stepbrothers, Ronnie Maze of Koontz Lake, Jim (Arlene) Maze of Florida and Richard (Sue) Maze of Plymouth and one stepsister-in-law, Janet Maze of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by three stepbrothers, Charles, Francis and Gerald Maze.
Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at 1 p.m. EDT in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will follow at the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth, where a military graveside service will be conducted. Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to SAL, American Legion Post#189 of Walkerton.
