INDEPENDENCE, Ore. — Sherril S. Ulery, wife of William A. Ulery, born and raised in Culver, died July 23, 2014. Sherril was fighting cancer at the time of her death. She was a wife and mother of seven children. She was also a mother to over 50 foster children, some with severe handicaps, with her husband William of 57 years. They ended up adopting several of these children as their own.
She was an AVON dealer for over five years in Pagosa Springs, Colo. earning many achievements and awards within that time. They have resided in Independence, Ore. for the last 13 years.
Sherril was survived by her husband, William A. Ulery of Independence, Ore. She was also survived by Timothy Paul Ulery, Rebecca Joy Montano, Marci Ann Cooper all of Denver, Colo., Steven Joseph Ulery of Durango, Colo., Adrian James Ulery, Tara Marie Ulery, and Alan Matthew Ulery all of Independence, Ore. Sherril also had 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
