ARGOS — Robert E. (Wally) Wallace, 68, of Argos, died May 4, 2014 at 8:46 a.m. at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis following a short illness.
He was born June 27, 1945 in Plymouth to Lewis and Betty (Marsh) Wallace.
He has lived in the Argos community for the last 38 years, coming from Plymouth and had spent his whole life in the Marshall County area.
On Aug. 21, 1976 in Donaldson he married Debra (Wright) Wallace.
He was a mechanic and worked for Pioneer Seed Company in Plymouth where he retired in 2012.
Robert was a graduate of West High School, Plymouth with the class of 1963.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #68, Argos; and VFW Auxiliary, Plymouth.
He is survived by his wife – Debra Wallace of Argos; daughters – Pam Greer and husband Jeff of Indianapolis; and Paula Condon of Carmel; son – Chad Wallace of Argos; grandchildren – Joshua Greer and Sarah Greer; sisters – Marsha Karch of Florida; Sharon Shaffer of Kansas; and Tammie Scherk of Plymouth; and brothers – Lowell Wallace of Plymouth; Larry Wallace of Plymouth; and Richard Wallace and wife Jean of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, 120 N. First St., Argos.
Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. May 10, 2014 at the James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, 120 N. First St., Argos, officiated by Rev. Richard Dean.
