Glenn downs Lady Eagles
John Glenn’s girls basketball team stayed perfect with a dominant 58-29 win at Culver Girls Academy Tuesday.
The Lady Falcons jumped out to a 31-17 halftime lead with a 26-9 second quarter and never looked back in the win, which pushed the team out to 3-0.
Freshman Kyannah Stull led all scorers with 19 points, while Kyler Columbia scored 17 for Glenn.
CGA was paced by MArie Steiner’s 16 points in the loss, which dropped the Lady Eagles to 1-2 on the year.

4th quarter pushes
Culver past Winamac
Culver Community finished strong with a 21-12 fourth quarter to remain unbeaten with a 46-37 win on the road at Winamac Tuesday.
The Lady Cavaliers and the Warriors were knotted at 25-all headed into the decisive fourth quarter.
Culver was led in scoring by Kayla Shaffer’s 18 points for the night, while Tatum Schultz and Mickella Hardy both finished with 12 in the win. Schultz also notched nine assists and eight rebounds flirting with a triple double for the Cavs, who improved to 3-0.
Bethany Brogdon and Taylor Brandt led Winamac with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
