Junior Tour results
The Marshall County Junior Golf Tour made a stop at Round Barn Golf Course in Rochester Tuesday. Plymouth-area golfers had several top finishes, as John Schenk, Grant Clady and Richard Cooper finished in order in second through fourth place in the Boys 14-15 division Northfield’s Braydon Schindler, while Matt Gerard and Andrew Himes finished first and second in the boys 10-11 group, respectively, with scores of 33 and 34, and St. Michael’s golfer John Oliver shot a 29 five strokes back of boys 8-9 winner Gavin Butler of Triton.
Two NorthWood girls notched top finishes, meanwhile, as Heidi Morganthaler shot 80 to top the girls 15-17 division ahead of second-place finisher Emily Denney of Plymouth and third-place finisher Linnzie Richner of NorthWood, while fellow Lady Panther Madison Richner shot 58 to win the girls 12-14 competition.
Rochester’s Kristianna Lingenfelter topped the girls 8-11 leaderboard, while Plymouth’s Claudia Marohn also carded 33.
