Boys swimming
CMA tops Adams
Culver Military’s boys swim team handed visiting Adams a 112-67 defeat Thursday night.
The Eagles won nine total events and went one-two in five races, including the 400 freestyle relay en route to the win.
Nolan Kolden earned top honors in the backstroke and the 200 medley relay, Ian Bardwell was tops in the medley relay and butterfly, and Grant Ralston was first in both the 100 free and the 400 free relay.

Bremen falls short vs Riley
Bremen’s boys swim team got impressive performances from its top swimmers but ultimately lost out to Riley’s depth in a 97-89 loss Thursday night.
Krent Hueni and Nolan Filchak each earned wins in four different events, while Will Serf was a winner with Filchak and Hueni in both the medley relay and 400 free relay, won the backstroke and finished second in the 200 free.
Tom Serf recorded wins in the medley relay and 400 free relay and finished second in the breaststroke. Beau Beeson won the dive competition.

Eagles fall to Adams
Culver Girls Academy suffered a 97-83 defeat at the hands of South Bend Adams at home at the Academies Thursday night.
CGA’s top finishes were put in by Eberle Miller in the 200 free, 100 back and 400 free relay, and Josephine Schott in the 500 free and 400 free relay. Rory Byrne and Jaclyn Schutjer earned top finishes in the 400 free relay with Miller and Schott.

Bremen drops dual
Bremen’s girls swim team lost a 107-79 meet with South Bend Riley Thursday.
Katie Lafferty was tops in the 50 and 100 free swims. Kerygan LaVine placed second in the 200 free, Lacey Miller was second in the 500 free, and Belle Beeson finished runner-up in the dive.

Girls basketball
Plymouth takes NLC loss
Plymouth suffered a 52-40 Northern Lakes Conference setback at the hands of Northridge on the road Thursday.
Kaydon Fosler led Plymouth with 12 points and three steals and two assists, while Haley Harrell finished with eight points and three steals, Hunter Stevens scored seven, Nicole Horvath tallied six points and Shannon Stephenson finished with five points and six rebounds.
Northridge was led by Morgan Miller’s 14 and Baliegh Carithers’ 10.
The Lady Pilgrims surrendered 23 turnovers in the loss, which drops them to 11-6 overall with a 3-2 NLC mark. They travel to Wawasee for another NLC clash next Wednesday.

Strong 2nd half cues LaVille win over Argos
LaVille outscored Argos 29-15 in the second half en route to a 44-29 defeat of the visiting Dragons in Lakeville Thursday night.
Hannah Herbster scored a game co-high 18 along with Argos’ Libby Moyer, and McKenzie Leed supplied 10 in the win for the Lancers.

Glenn rallies past Judson
John Glenn rallied from a 32-29 deficit in the fourth quarter to hand visiting North Judson a 46-41 defeat at The Aerie Thursday.
Natalie Shetler hit three 3s on her way to a game-best 13 points, while Kyannah Stull scored 11, Morgan Eggleston put up eight, and Loren Vukovits finished with seven for the balanced Falcons, who bounced back from a disappointing Bi-County loss to Culver Community last week.
Judson was paced by JoJo Sallee’s 12 and Darian Stalbaum’s 10.
