Redinger, Stevens, Harrell honored by NLC

PLYMOUTH — A pair of Plymouth forwards were selected for All-Northern Lakes Conference honors as the league named its girls basketball picks for the 2012-13 season recently.
Lady Pilgrims senior Amber Redinger and sophomore Hunter Stevens were named to the All-NLC first team, while sophomore point guard Haley Harrell was given honorable mention for Plymouth, which finished up Northern Lakes Conference play at 4-3 in a tie for fourth with Elkhart Memorial.
Warsaw, which went 6-1 in conference play with its only loss coming at the hands of 5-2 NorthWood, was given three first team picks, and coach Michelle Harter was named NLC Coach of the Year.
NorthWood senior Savanna Bley and junior Morgan Olson were named to the All-NLC squad, and Jordan France was given honorable mention for the Black Swish, who finished up conference play at 5-2 in a two-way tie for second with Northridge. Goshen finished sixth in the league at 3-4, Wawasee was seventh at 1-6, and Concord was winless in NLC play to round out the league standings.
