Pool committee collects public comments

October 30, 2013

PLYMOUTH - With a feasibility study underway, the Plymouth Build-A-Pool Committee invited the public to a community meeting at Lincoln Junior High on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

“A project like this has to take time and has to have community involvement,” said Committee Member and Mayor Mark Senter.

The Committee has considered several aspects of a new pool including swim lessons, health and fitness, competitive swimming and physical therapy.

Several ideas where suggested mainly around competitive swimming but committee member Leanne Senter stressed the importance of everyone’s benefit from a community pool and encouraged those not involved in competitive swimming to voice their suggestions.
