Plymouth's Samuelson commits to Pitt

April 26, 2012

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth offensive lineman Dan Samuelson has committed to play football at the University of Pittsburgh next fall.
Samuelson, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound guard, is the fourth player to verbally commit to Pitt's 2013 recruiting class.
Pitt is a Division I program making a move from the Big East to the Atlantic Coast Conference following the ACC's formal acceptance of both Pitt and Syracuse in September. The Panthers finished with a record of 6-7 last season ending with a 28-6 loss to Southern Methodist in the BBVA Compass Bowl Jan. 7.
Former Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst will take over as head coach for Pitt in the school's first year of ACC membership.
