Plymouth mayor issues watch-level travel advisory for Thursday

Through an executive order, Mayor Mark Senter has issued a watch-level travel advisory for the City of Plymouth for Thursday.
The advisory limits travel to only essential travel, such as in an emergency or to and from work.
The National Weather Service is predicting the Yellow River will crest at 18 feet at about 1 p.m. Thursday — nearly a foot higher than the record-level crest of 17.1 feet set in 1954.
The NWS revised earlier this evening the timing for when the river will crest. Previously it was expected to crest at about 7 p.m.
