Plymouth’s Stein signs with Ancilla

March 19, 2014

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth High School cheerleader, Haley Stein, recently signed her letter of intent to join the Ancilla Chargers cheer squad.
As a member of the PHS cheer team, Stein lettered four years and is currently varsity captain. While attending cheer camp, she was voted MVP All-Around Cheerleader for talent, spirit, and personality. Stein has also been an 11-year member of the All-Star cheer squad at Gymnastics BEST Gym, located in Koontz Lake.
In addition to her cheering activities, Stein has been a competitive gymnast for seven years. As a member of the Spanish and Pep Clubs at PHS, Stein has excelled academically as well as athletically. She will be reunited with sister Schae on the Ancilla cheer squad.
When asked why she chose Ancilla, Stein replied, “I am really excited to reunite with my sister on a cheer squad, plus the school is a great start for my college education and future goals.”
“I am lucky to have two very talented Stein sisters on the team,” commented Ancilla coach MaryAnn Rush. “It has been a great experience coaching Schae and I look forward to the addition of Haley. I know she will be a great asset to the squad. Her fearlessness and willingness to try new things will allow our group to grow in a positive direction.”
While at Ancilla, Stein will major in Communications, paving the way for her desired career as a broadcast journalist.
