Pilgrims fall short vs Indians

December 11, 2013

PLYMOUTH — It was a case of too little too late as Plymouth’s Pilgrims went to the .500 mark on the season falling at home to South Bend St. Joe by a 46-39 final.
The veteran Indians came out and put Plymouth on their heels with hot shooting and some pressure early and while the Pilgrims were able to take a lead late in the game, they were not able to hold it.
“St. Joe is extremely long and athletic and as coaches we have to do a better job of getting the right personnel out there,” said Plymouth head coach Ryan Bales. “Hey, 39 points isn’t going to cut it against a team of their (St. Joe’s) caliber.”
