Pilgrims, CGA advance at tennis regional

Plymouth and Culver Girls Academy advanced to the championship at the CGA Tennis Regional Tuesday night.
The Pilgrims advanced with a 4-1 victory over Warsaw, while the host Lady Eagles beat Wabash in straight sets on all courts.
Plymouth will look to upend three-time regional champion CGA, which advanced all the way to the state finals last year, in the championship tonight at 5 p.m. at the Gable Tennis Complex. The Pilgrims, who are looking for their first regional title since 2006, narrowly beat out CGA 3-2 in a match back on April 17.
