PLYMOUTH â€” The Foodbank of Northern Indiana will have a mobile pantry at the Plymouth National Guard Armory on 1220 W. Madison St. in Plymouth from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17
The mobile pantry will be offering fresh perishable items such as produce, grains, dairy and protein with dry goods free of charge.
Supplies will be first come, first serve while supplies last for those in need of food assistance. The service is available to all northern Indiana residents in need of food assistance. A valid photo ID is required for service. It is recommended to bring bags or boxes to carry items home.

The food bank partners with local and national manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, food growers, packers and brokers to procure food. Businesses organizations and individuals conduct food and fund drives while receiving financial support from corporations, foundations, organizations and individuals.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana works in partnership with the community to feed the hungry, increase awareness of the effects of hunger and lead programs designed to alleviate hunger. It serves Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, Starke and St. Joseph Counties and is a member of Feeding America, Feeding Indianaâ€™s Hungry (FIsH) and the United Way.
