BREMEN — Marie Ritenour, 89, died at Elkhart Hospice House on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013. She was born Feb. 9, 1924 in Bremen to Ervin and Essie (Bennett) Hummel.
Marie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Greg Samons of Bourbon. A grandson, Steve (Kari) Samons of Ft. Wayne and their daughters, Samantha and Katelin Samons, survive as well. A sister-in-law, Edna (Meryl) Swihart of Plymouth and a sister-in-law, Mildred Ritenour of Warsaw, together with several nieces and nephews, also survive.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Kenneth, her parents and two sons, Larry and Ervin.
Visitation at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, will be Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at 1 p.m.   
Funeral services will be conducted by the Pastor Gould at 2 p.m., following visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sandridge Cemetery, Bourbon.

The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.
