BLOOMINGTON — A Funeral Mass for former Culver resident, Margaret Jane “Peg” Paschal Lewis, 89, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 400 N. Center St., Plymouth with Rev. Thomas E. Haynes officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the parish hall.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Lewis, their five children: Andrew, Jane (Richard), David, Peter (Tammy), and Megan (Chris) along with 10 grandchildren.
The couple moved to Culver in 1968, when Charles joined the history department at Culver Military Academy.
Throughout her life, Peg was involved in the performing arts. She was also a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church choir in Plymouth, and she was a member of the altar guild. She had a love of all kinds of music, particularly opera.
In the 1980s she was part of the Culver Academies’ Department of Development.
