Lighting the Tree of Life

PLYMOUTH — The Auxiliary of
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center -
Plymouth held a Tree Lighting Ceremony
in honor of loved ones.
Community members were invited to
donate $2 for an angel ornament representing
a loved one to be displayed
on the Tree of Life in the main lobby of
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center’s
Plymouth Campus.
Proceeds from The Tree of Life will be
distributed by SJRMC’s Auxiliary toward
the work and service provided by the
hospital.
President of SJRMC - Plymouth Campus
Loretta Schmidt shared a few words recognizing
the less fortunate, those overseas
and the individuals who struggle physically
or emotionally. The names of the
loved ones were read and are on the ornaments
that adorn the tree. Mass was held
shortly after the Lighting Ceremony in the
hospital’s chapel.
