WALKERTON — James G. Wyland, 69, of Knifley, Ky., formerly of Walkerton, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Kentucky. Mr. Wyland was born Jan. 8, 1944 in Crawford County, Kan. to Ted and Viola (Ellis) Wyland. On Jan. 19, 1985 in Walkerton, he was married to the former Kathy Kring. Surviving are his wife Kathy, children, James (Crystal) Wyland of Willisburg, Ky., John (Casi) Felix of Walkerton, Bobbi Lynn (Clinton) Thompson of Springfield, Ky., Sarah (Scott) Collins of South Bend; son-in-law, T.J. Ernsberger of North Liberty; 12 grandchildren; brother, Olin (Tammy) Wyland of Mulberry, Kan.; sisters, Bessie (Ernie) Chassaurd of Arma, Kan., Donna (Nick) Dewey of Fort Scott, Kan. and Etta (Terry) Smith of Hepler, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Teddy Wyland and daughter, Jessica Ernsberger. Mr. Wyland was retired from Masonite Corp. in Walkerton.
A graveside service will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. (Eastern Time) at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Central Kentucky, 105 Diecks Dr., Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
