Homeschooling panel held at Community Gospel

March 27, 2014

BREMEN — The Mint City Home Educators hosted a panel discussion Tuesday, March 18 at the Community Gospel Church in Bremen for families considering homeschooling their high school-age children.
A group of thirty parents listened to a panel of local parents and students that have experiences in home school during high school years and addressed issues concerning the process with topics ranging from choosing curriculum, maintaining transcripts and preparing for college.
Susan Daniels, a former public high school teacher and mother who homeschools her children, led the panel discussion and gave guidance to those in attendance on factors to consider when thinking about homeschooling.
