Highway Department — two bosses instead of one

July 15, 2014

MARSHALL COUNTY — The county has been without a superintendent for the Highway Department for several months. The general foreman and other crew members have stepped up to fill the void while the County Commissioners review potential replacements. Commissioner Deb Griewank asked the County Council to approve a recommendations made by the personnel committee last week.
Those recommendations involved adding two new positions, Highway Administrative Manager and Supervisor of County Highway. The positions would be under the direction of the commissioners. For the details and more information about the county council meeting pick up a copy of today's Pilot News.
