Free recycling in Wakarusa tomorrow!

WAKARUSA -- The Town Wakarusa and Rebulb, LLC are offering free recycling of electronic and batteries to the residents of Wakarusa on May 10. All waste will be reycled by local, state and federal regulations.
Recycable items include computers, printers, cell phones, phones, monitors, modems, hard drives, Ipads, Ipods, tablets, calculators, christmas lights, extensions cords, power strips, battery backups, coffee makers, rechargable batteries, AAA and AA batteries, power pack, cordless drill batteries, hearing aid battery, watch batteries, lead acid, vehicle batteries, cell phone batteries, laptop batteries.
Drop off items to Bible Baptist Church parking lot, 205 E. Waterford Street, Wakarusa forom 9 a.m. to noon today.
Electronics and most batteries contain toxic metals that need to be kept out of landfills and ground water. If improperly disposed of they can harm drinking water and recreational water.
