ROCHESTER — Jerry Bogseth, 68, of Rochester, died at 8;38 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
He is survived by his daughters: Kathleen Bogseth of Rochester, Jill Ann (Roger) Winter of Crystal Lake, Ill.; sons: John Bogseth of Lake In The Hills, Ill., Phillip (Betty) Ahlenius of Bremen, Jason (Melinda) Bogseth of Rochester; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Faith (Neil)Stieirt of Fox Lake, Ill., Loretta (Bill) Arko of Vernon Hill, Ill., Patricia Bogseth of Fox lake, Ill., Carol (Al) Knapp of Libertyville, Ill., Leona Taylor of Fox Lake, Ill., Laura Bogseth of Mountain Home, Ark; and a brother, Larry Bogseth of Rochester.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Rochester IOOF Cemetery Rochester.

BREMEN — Paul Maurer, 62, Bremen, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at Community Hospital of Bremen.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry; son, Rich (Maria) Maurer of Sebastian, Fla.; daughter Angela Maurer of Kewanna; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Don Maurer and Bob Maurer; and sisters, Kay Bishop and Pam.
Visitation will take place 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at Calvary Baptist Church, LaPaz.
Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.

PLYMOUTH — Roscoe “Bud” Herman Franklin, 85, of Plymouth, formerly of North Liberty, died, Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at Center for Hospice Home in Elkhart.
He is survived by his wife Audrey; children, Pamela Elkins of Walkerton, Bruce (Jeanne) Franklin of Fishers, Deborah Blacketor of Fort Wayne, David (Tyann) Franklin of Crown Point, Beverly (Nicholas) Lung of North Liberty, and Patrick (Barbara) Franklin of Polk City, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Freet of Rockville, Ill. 
Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty.

NAPPANEE — Barbara L. Helmuth, 90, of Nappanee, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at her residence, after a long illness.
She is survived by sons: Joseph (Lydian) Helmuth of Goshen, Elmer (Angela) Helmuth of Goshen, Milo (Amanda) Helmuth of Topeka, Owen (Irene) Helmuth of Shipeshewana, Levi (Anna Lou) Helmuth of Nappanee, Daniel (Mary) Helmuth of Nappanee, Raymond (Elva) Helmuth of Bremen, and Delbert (Leora) Helmuth of Nappanee; daughters, Alma (David) Whetstone of Nappanee and Emma (Melvin) Kuhns of Nappanee; 54 grandchildren; 107 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Stutzman of Nappanee; sisters: Lizzie Troyer of Manton, Mich., Lydia Hochstetler of Nappanee, Mary Yoder of Nappanee, Annie Stutzman of California, Fannie (Eldon) Yoder of Salem, Mo., and Sylvia Kohler, Nappanee; and sister-in-law, Alverda Stutzman of Nappanee.
Visitation will take place after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 and all day Wednesday at the family residence.
Funeral services will take place at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at the family residence.
Burial will follow at Burkholder Cemetery, Nappanee.
Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, assisted the family with arrangements.

Ethel Morine Trusty
Sept. 27, 2010
NAPPANEE — Ethel Morine Trusty, 73, of Nappanee, died at 5:33 a.m. Sept. 27, 2010 at Hospice House in South Bend, after a long illness.
She is survived by her children: Donnie Trusty of South Bend, Deborah Bradbury of Manchester, Tenn., Charlene (Dino) Fraschetti of LaPaz, and Danny Trusty of Jonesville, Mich.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a stepgrandson; brothers: Melvin, Lester, Cecil, Delbert and Noah Rudd; sisters: Christine, Suedale, Ruth Ann, Abigail, Gay, Pansy and Geraldine; and many brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

PLYMOUTH — Jeffrey A. White, Sr., 48, a resident of Conger St., Plymouth, died unexpectedly at 12:05 a.m. Sunday in the emergency room of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth Campus as a result of a heart attack.
He is survived by a former spouse, Ruth Ann Streets of Louisiana; and sons:  Spc. Jeffrey A. White, Jr., Fort Lewis-McChord, Shane White, Nathanial White and Brandon White, both of Plymouth; a granddaughter; sisters, Sandra (Raymond) Cook of Sharon, W.V., and Pamela Lamb of Plymouth; brothers, Robert (Mary) White of Cabin Creek, W.V., Roger (Alma) White of Elkview, W.V. and Jack (Priscilla) White of Plymouth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. 
Funeral services will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. 
  Burial will follow at Tyner Cemetery, Tyner, with military honors by the Plymouth American Legion Post 27, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1162 and the DAV.

AKRON — Kenneth I. Yeazel 63, of Akron, died at 7:08 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
He is survived by his brothers: Stephen Yeazel of Elkhart, Dennis Yeazel of Roann, Allan (Terry) Yeazel of Akron, and Randy Yeazel of North Webster; sisters: Karen Yeazel of Akron and Susan (Mike) Richardson of Roann; and several nieces and nephews.  
Graveside services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester assisted the family with arrangements.
