NORTH JUDSON — Robert E Smrt, 91, of Donaldson, formerly of North Judson, died Sept. 15, 2013 at Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.
He is survived by a brother, Joe Smrt of Knox.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. CDT Friday, Sept. 27 with a 7 p.m. rosary service at O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc. North Judson.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, North Judson.
Burial will be at Saint Jacobs Cemetery.

OSCEOLA — Jesse W. Keen Sr., 84, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 in Elkhart General Hospital.
Survivors include eight children, Deborah Truman of Elkhart, Edward (Jana) Keen of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Dorothy (Bill) Stacy of Westville, David Keen of Osceola, Barb (Bill) Stafford of Osceola, Jesse Keen Jr. of Elkhart, Paul (Cathy) Keen of Elkhart and Sandra Keen of Arcadia; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Dora Mitchell of West Virginia and Jeanie Rowe of Knox.
Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. n Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial followed at the Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet. Visitation was Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or the American Cancer Society. NORTH JUDSON — Sylvia (Vendl) Knachel, 90, of North Judson died Sept. 13, 2013 at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Orkis of North Judson; son, Paul Knachel of Libertyville, Ill.; sister, Rose Cowls of Forrest View, Ill.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc., North Judson and after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 until time of 11 a.m. services at Saint Peter Lutheran Church, North Judson. Burial is at Highland Cemetery, North Judson.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Wrezinski.

KNOX — Morris Cole, 87, of Knox died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at Miller's Merry Manor.
He is survived by sons, Ron (Virginia) Cole of Culver, John (Nancy) Cole of Knox; daughter, Darlene (Rodney) Sanders of Kearny, Ariz.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Luther Cole of Salyersville, Ky.
Visitation was for one hour prior to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 services at Gospel Light House Church.

MONTEREY — John W. Decker, 54, of Monterey died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; mother, Gerry Kitchen of Argos; children, Aaron Decker of Plymouth, Reana Jackson (Drew) of Plymouth, Stacy Schlegal (Jamie) of Nappanee; siblings, Diane Lindh of Pennsylvania, Jimmy Decker of Plymouth, Joe Decker of Plymouth, Mary Cincush (Jim) of Valparaiso, Debbie Boswell of Rochester; and four grandchildren.
Private family services have taken place.

She is survived by her husband, Maury; two children, William (Gina) of Knox, Sharon Scroggins (Dwight) of Hebron; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Tetzloff (Marlene) of Knox, Donald Tetzloff (Sandy) of Granger.
Visitation was from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 with visitation one hour prior at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox. Burial is at Round Lake Cemetery.

NORTH JUDSON — Patricia L Thomason, 66, of North Judson died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at La Porte Hospital.
She is survived by son, Michael Thomason of La Porte; daughters, Kim Thomason of North Judson, Kathy (Mike) Byrn of Corydon; two grandchilden; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Bill Patteson of Missouri, Chuck Patteson of Florida.
There will be no serices or visitation.

Survivors include wife, Arvilla A. Crissinger; sons, David T. (Elaine) Crissinger, Winamac, Michael L. Crissinger, Star City, Jonathan M. (Michelle) Crissinger Sr., Plymouth, Jesse F. Peter, Star City; daughter, Kathleen I. Taff, Winamac; 10 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Maxwell, Winamac.
No services will be held.

A service was held in Texas.
A graveside service took place at 2 p.m. EDT Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at the Independence Cemetery, Medaryville. Burial followed.

Survivors include sons, John Gilsinger, Cincinnati, Ohio, Dale (Jayne) Gilsinger, Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Patricia (Steve) Dice, Lafayette; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan (Harry) Petrohilos, Yellow Springs, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. EDT Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Monterey.
Burial took place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville.
Visitation was from 3-6:30 p.m. EDT Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at Frain Mortuary.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac.
Burial took place in St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. EDT Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at Frain Mortuary.

She is survived by two daughters, Carleen Mann and Darlene Ritchie, both of Walkerton; one son, Darrell Bays of Centerville; five sisters, Mazie Heister, Eva Rice, Ruth Howard, Ruby Minix and Madge Whickcar, all of Walkerton; three brothers, Warren and Clifford Allen, both of Plymouth, and William Allen of Florida; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday at 1 p.m. EDT at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will be at Grovertown Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.
