CULVER — Verla M. Gill, 83, of Culver died Dec. 26, 2012 at 12:03 p.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at 2 p.m.
Van Gilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ARGOS — Thomas Millard Morton, 70, of Argos died Dec. 18, 2012 at 1:14 p.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Morton of Argos; daughter, Tamara Morton of Lansing, Mich.; and son, Thomas (Wanda) Morton of Knoxville, Tenn.
Visitation is Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 from 12:30 – 1 p.m. at the Argos American Legion Post #68, 120 N. First St., Argos. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Legion Hall. NAPPANEE — Leona Miller, 89, of Nappanee, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, at 11:12 a.m. at LuAnn Nursing Home from a short illness.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey; children, Etta Fern (Wayne) Risser of Elkhart, Rosa Elaine Newbry of Goshen, Viola Miller of Nappanee, Wayne Alan (Brenda) Miller of Elkhart, Larry Lee (Cyndy) Miller of Elkhart, Lanadell (Carl) Helmuth of Adair, Okla., Joyce Evans of Nappanee, Sherri Lynne (Merle) Alderman of Nappanee, and Rhonda Ann (Jim) Bellman of Nappanee; 28 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Sylvanus (Mary) Miller of Nappanee, Lester (Mary Esther) Miller of Middlebury, and Homer (Freda) Miller of Nappanee; and sisters, Linda Mae Miller, Clara (Lamar) Hershberger, and Verba (Lonnie) Slabaugh, all of Nappanee.
Visitation is Friday, Dec. 28, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and for an hour prior to the funeral service which starts Saturday, at 10 a.m. at North Main Street Mennonite Church in Nappanee. Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Elder Haus or North Main Street Mennonite Church. Online condolences may be sent at www.tlyfh.com.

WINAMAC — Alberta Elsie Katschke, 59, of Winamac, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.
Survivors include her husband, Ray P. Katschke, Winamac; one daughter, Sheila G. Yockey, Rochester; four sons, Thomas E. (Teresa) Bryant, Paul A. Katschke, and Brent A. Katschke, all of Winamac, and Brian R. (Melissa) Katschke, Rochester; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Adam (Bonnie) Hines, Monticello, Minn., and Frank (Mindy) Hines, Winamac; and two sisters, Rosemary (Bill) Marsh, Plymouth and Cindy (Glenn) Cole, Winamac.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in Frain Mortuary, Winamac. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at Frain Mortuary. Burial will take place in Winamac Cemetery.
