Deadline for Community Hospital of Bremen fundraiser nearing

The sixth annual Community Hospital of Bremen Foundation’s Autumn Outing Golf Scramble is quickly approaching. The event is Saturday, Sept. 14, at Sprig -O-Mint Golf Course, 9425 US 6 West, Bremen. Registration is 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., according to Lon Kipfer, CHB’s director of development

BREMEN — The sixth annual Community Hospital of Bremen Foundation’s Autumn Outing Golf Scramble is quickly approaching.
The event is Saturday, Sept. 14, at Sprig -O-Mint Golf Course, 9425 US 6 West, Bremen. Registration is 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., according to Lon Kipfer, CHB’s director of development.
The outing is a four-person Florida scramble and is $300 per four-person team.
The fee includes 18 holes of golf, green fees, cart and lunch provided by Wings, Etc.
Additional food and beverages will be sold during the event, according to Kipfer.
Players should register early because the Autumn Outing is limited to the first 36 teams.
There is no rain date.
Make checks payable to: Community Hospital of Bremen Foundation. Checks should be returned by Sept. 7. They can be mailed to Community Hospital of Bremen, Autumn Outing, PO. Box 8, Bremen, IN 46506.
There will be a Hole-in-One $10,000 prize and prizes to the top three teams.
There will also be prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. There will be a 50/50 drawing and door prizes.
Hole sponsorships at the $200 and $100 level remain available.
Proceeds from the event are being designated to the purchase of medication dispensing equipment, according to Kipfer.
