County asked to split church and house on property plat

October 28, 2013

PLYMOUTH - A house and church will be divided.

The Marshall County Plan Commission heard a request from Olan Howard the pastor of the church on 12th Road just south of Plymouth to replat the property the church and parsonage sit on. Howard would like the plat divided in two, 1.56 acres to the west side of the lot for the church property and .63 acres on the east where the parsonage currently sits.

Howard - in ailing health - is concerned that his family be able to continue to live in the parsonage as part of his estate. In order for that to happen the property must be separated from the property the church is on.
