Bremen New Year baby finally headed home

BREMEN — The first baby born in Bremen this year has already been through a lot.
"We had him on Friday night, Jan. 3," Jennifer Morawski explained of her son, Braxton. "When he was born, probably about seven hours afterward, he started having seizures and we transferred him to Memorial."
Due to his condition, the decision to announce his birth was withheld until last week, when the Morawski family received word that their son would be released Saturday.
"Babies, they're amazing," Morawski said. "They're still growing. Hopefully, with him, he can learn to cope with everything that happened to him in the beginning. You can definitely tell he has a strong-willed attitude."
