November 5, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — Bremen junior Kris Wickens passes New Prairie’s David Kampf just before the finish line at Saturday’s IHSAA boys state cross country finals in Terre Haute.
Wickens, only the second Bremen runner to ever compete in a boys state cross country meet, finished 81st out of 206 total runners.
He completed the 5,000-meter course at the Wabash Valley Sports Center in 16:40.9.
Kampf, this year’s Northern State Conference champ, placed 82nd in 16:41.8.
