Bremen’s Huff signs with Ancilla

March 21, 2013

BREMEN — It’s a win-win.
The Chargers will gain a local talent, and Andrew Huff will continue his soccer career close to home as the Bremen senior signed on with Ancilla College recently.
“I really appreciate the opportunity Coach (Darren) Gallagher has given me, and being able to play college soccer at Ancilla means so much since I can continue to play close to home,” said Huff.
Huff was a four-year varsity player at Bremen under Lions head coach Mark Yoder and will enroll at Ancilla next fall, where he plans to study business.  While at Bremen, Huff garnered an All-Northern State Conference selection last fall and the team’s Coaches Award his junior year.
“Andrew will give us some much-needed athleticism on the field next season,” said Gallagher. “We have a core group of returners, and adding some quality local players will only make us stronger. Andrew is a great fit for Ancilla and our men’s soccer program — we will expect big things from him.”
