BHS choir director sings for a cause

May 1, 2014

BREMEN — Bremen High School Choir Director Kathy Overmyer will host a concert all her own on this Friday, May 2 in an effort to raise money for her trip to Uganda this fall.
"I need to do my part to raise money and the only way I know how to do that is sing," Overmyer said.
The concert will be about 90 minutes long and feature a plethora of musical styles including country, blues, acoustic, hymns and showtunes.
"I love all kinds of music so you'll get a variety of songs," she said. "I'm just going to go through and sing all of my favorites."
2012 Bremen High School graduate Chelsea Anglin will also join Overmyer on the stage to help benefit the Kuandaa International missions group which Overmyer will be traveling with.
Any money raised at the event will first go to helping Overmyer get to the country, and then to her missions trip for needed supplies.
