BEMS PTO sponsors movie night Dec. 10

November 30, 2010

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to a movie night at Bremen Elementary-Middle School, sponsored by the BEMS PTO, at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10.
“Toy Story 3” will be shown in the K-8 cafeteria. Doors open at 6:15. Concessions will be available (popcorn, candy and pop).
Bring a blanket, pillow or sleeping bag. Admission is one unwrapped gift or $1 per person. Proceeds will be donated to the Bremen Fire Department toy drive.
Middle school students are not required to have a parent attend, but children in grades K-5 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
The classroom with the most students attending movie night will earn an ice cream party for their class at a later date. To enter the attendance contest, students are asked to write their name and teacher’s name on the movie flyer and bring it to movie night. The flyers will be sent home with every student.
In conjunction with the movie night, the PTO is sponsoring a coloring contest for kindergarten and first grade students. A coloring page will be sent home.
For students in grades 2-8, a poster contest is being held with the theme “Toy Story.” Entries must be in the elementary office by Dec. 8. Winners will be announced at the end of the movie Dec. 10.
