Argos adds taxes and rezones areas

June 10, 2014

ARGOS — Home owners in Argos can expect to pay a little more on their tax bill. The Argos Town Council passed an ordinance establishing the Cumulative Capital Development (CCD) Fund. The lack of the CCD in 2013 cost the town $18,000.
Ordinance 2014-7 was also passed during the meeting. The ordinance deals with the newly acquired industrial development property being rezoned. It was Agriculture and the ordinance passed making it zoned Heavy Industrial.
In today's Pilot News you can read about the entire Argos Town Council meeting.
