Plymouth prepares for Concord

October 2, 2014

PLYMOUTH — It was a big game a week ago and in spite of a big win there were several reasons for concern headed into “The Game” this weekend for Plymouth’s Rockies at Concord.
One — injuries — with several players nursing health issues including the flu. Two — a sudden propensity by the Plymouth offense to leave the ball on the ground.

Area teams get set for Week 6

September 25, 2014

CULVER — John Glenn will get a different look on defense as the team takes on Culver Military Academy on the road this week. But rather than feeling stressed about it, the Falcons are excited.
“We think they’re going to try to throw the ball 25 to 40 times, and we’ve not experienced that yet this year,” said Glenn head coach Dave Sharpe. “We’ve been working like crazy with our defensive secondary and our linebackers with our pass coverages. It’s going to be a fun game.”
