Panthers win Warsaw Sectional

September 22, 2014

WARSAW — It wasn’t necessarily NorthWood’s goal to walk out of the Warsaw Sectional with the championship.
The Lady Panthers goals were more modest: stay out of trouble, beat last year’s score, get one of the top three spots that guarantee a regional berth.
It wasn’t the Panthers’ goal to take home the sectional trophy, but it sure felt good.
NorthWood carded a 348 to beat out second-place Wawasee by 12 strokes and run away with the team’s first-ever sectional championship Saturday at the Warsaw Girls Golf Sectional at Stonehenge.
