BREMEN — A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 for Dawn Elizabeth Clark, 51, of Bremen, who passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at 12:42 p.m. Please contact her family for details.
She is the daughter of David Terry and Deanna Jo (Powell) Rice and is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Duewaine Clark and their seven children; and two siblings.
Contributions may be made to the family.

KOKOMO — Michael D. Alderfer, 37, of Kokomo died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at 8:10 p.m. at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Howard County on Dec. 13, 1976 to Larry and Norma (Cardwell) Alderfer. He married Kaylee Colburn on Oct. 12, 2013 and she survives.

WEST LAFAYETTE — Marilyn L. Hoover Rentschler, 82, of West Lafayette, died peacefully on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014.
The daughter of Dale and Esther Bates Hoover, Marilyn was born in Fort Wayne on Nov. 3, 1931 and spent her childhood in Warsaw.
Marilyn was a resident of Fort Wayne until 1999, when she and her husband, Frederick L. Rentschler, retired and moved to The Villages, Fla. After Fred passed away in 2007, she lived in Marietta, Ga. before moving back to Indiana in 2013.

ARGOS — Marilyn Ann (Hardy) McCoige, 75, of Argos died Oct. 21, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at Signature Health Care, Bremen. She had been in declining health for several years.
She was born April 7, 1939 in Lowville, N.Y. to Floyd C. Hardy and Madeline (Hutchins) Hardy. She has lived in the Argos community since 1971, coming from Culver where she had lived from 1961 to 1971. Before that she lived in Carthage, N.Y.
On June 7, 1961 in Black River, N.Y. she married Charles Edward McCoige. He preceded her in September 1993.

• Plymouth Chamber of Commerce Downtown Halloween Parade and Trick-or-Treating day is Saturday, Oct. 25, 1-3 p.m. Parade route is down Michigan Street; trick or treating follows.

• Plymouth Public Library's annual “Trick or Treat Open House” also from 1 to 3 p.m.

• The Newton Center in Lakeville's Haunted School continues from 8 to 11 p.m., Friday, Oct.24 and Saturday, Oct. 25. Entry is $5.

• Haunted Horse Barn at the Argos Fairgrounds is 7 - 10 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $2 per person.
