Like your iTunes? Thank a Plymouth grad

January 10, 2011

NASHVILLE — You could really call 1981 Plymouth High School graduate Joe McKesson a renaissance man.
A self admitted “computer nerd,” he is also an extremely talented singer and performer with a love and skill for opera, singing for opera companies all over the United States. With his background in music and technology, it was kind of a natural fit for him to be involved when iTunes was just an idea on a drawing board.

Rockies wrestle tough in loss to Elkhart Memorial

January 7, 2011

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth was facing an uphill battle against Northern Lakes Conference-undefeated Elkhart Memorial Thursday, and while they weren’t able to claim the team win, several Rockies wrestlers outworked opponents for comeback victories at The Rock.
“Memorial is extremely tough,” said Plymouth head wrestling coach Bob Read. “We knew we were outgunned. We’ve got some kids still out of the lineup... so we knew that it was going to be tough, but I thought we battled as hard as I’ve seen for quite awhile, in the midst of knowing it was going to be a dogfight.”
