PPD seeking information

PLYMOUTH — On the night of Oct. 15 a report was made to the Plymouth Police Department regarding a burglary and robbery on Hoham Drive.
According to the police report, Hubert Dulworth stated that an unknown subject had broken into a business that he managed and then attacked him. Dulworth stated that he was then hit on his head and became unconscious. He also informed officers that a large amount of cash was taken.

WALKERTON- Mary Alice “Mammie” Sester, 92, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, IN.
Mary was born Dec. 31, 1921 in Prestonberg, Kent. to Alan and Maude (Helton) Hale. She was married to Roscoe Jackson, who preceded her in death. She was then married to Edward Sester, who also preceded her in death along with her parents; brothers, Johnny, Addis, Mannis, Paul, Woodrow, Will, and Clell Hale; and sisters, Lila Klingerman and Ruby Kinsey.

PLYMOUTH — Bart E. Woodke, age 53, of Plymouth, Indiana, 46563, passed away at 5:49 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at home.
Bart was born on July 30, 1961, in Gary, to Phillip and Rose M. (Malast) Woodke. Bart enjoyed marathon running, cooking, and animals. He had worked in Washington, D.C. for 20 years and was working near the Pentagon on 9-11. Most recently he worked at Wendy’s as a cook. He moved to the Plymouth area from LaCrosse, Indiana, about five years ago.

PLYMOUTH – Helen Louise (Hackett) Spier, 89, a Plymouth resident most of her life, passed away at 6:14 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 in the We Belong Senior Home in Plymouth.
The daughter of Victor and Elizabeth (Gross) Hackett, Helen was born on Aug. 2, 1925 in Akron, Ohio. She was a 1943 graduate of Newburg High School in Newburg, WV.
On Sept. 7, 1952, Helen and Henry H. “JR” Spier were married in Plymouth. Henry preceded her in death on March 29, 1988.

BREMEN — Jon E. Newcomb, 69, of Bremen passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014 at home.
He was born to Jack and Kathleen Newcomb on Nov. 12, 1944 in Warsaw. Jon attended Burket Elementary until the eighth grade and graduated from Mentone High School in 1963. Jon went on to graduate from DePauw University in 1967 and then began law school at Indiana University.

DENTON, TEXAS — Wilfred Arthur (“Art”) Brock, 87, formerly of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Oct. 5, 2014, in Denton, Texas from Alzheimer’s Disease.
He was born at home in Bourbon on May 22, 1927, and was the second of 12 children, born to Harley Arthur and Edith Sherelda Marquart Brock. He graduated from Bourbon High School in 1945.

PLYMOUTH — Patricia A. “Pat” Himes, 64, of Plymouth, passed away at 3:49 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born on Feb. 13, 1950, in Plymouth, to Marion and Fern (Keyser) Carter. She worked at Hehr International, American Optical, and was also a desk clerk for L&K, all in Plymouth. Pat retired from Cira’s, in Granger, as a clerk.

ARGOS — Barbara Ann Harley, 81, of Argos, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 at her residence following a sudden illness.
She was born Aug. 27, 1933 in Plymouth, Indiana, the daughter of Nelson A. Marks and Lula Susan (Reese) Marks. Barbara was a graduate of Plymouth High School with the class of 1951 and lived in Marshall County her entire life.
